Good afternoon,
I was going to save this picture for later….but after receiving so many awesome comments and emails I decided to share it today. (Weekend posts may be headed in the direction of just fun stuff.)
My picture is of the gift I covered with the brown wrapping paper & the Figgy Pudding Flower. (Can't find my big roll of brown paper so I dug out a grocery bag and cut it apart).
Here's the picture of the flower before I added it to the box.
I used the Flower Folds Die and the Scallop Circle #2 Die to make the flowers and the Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon matches the Figgy Pudding Fabric. I thought about using the Chocolate but I went with the Olive since it's one of my favorite colors.
Have a great day!
WOW! Did that ever turn out beautiful. Who wouldn’t want to receive (or give) a gift that looks like that. Great idea and beautiful results!
That is the neatest thing I’ve ever seen!!! Love love love it!!! Sometime show us a whole group of wrapped presents!
Very beautiful!! I could see presents wrapped like that under my tree this year. 🙂
LOVE IT
Oh my gosh! That is beautiful!!!
Did you put batting in between the layers of fabric, or is it just two layers of fabric?
Thanks for sharing you beautiful creation with us!
Hugs,
Jen
What an beautifully wrapped gift. I can’t wait to get my die to start making these flowers.

This is my favorite thing you have presented so far! Any chance on you selling these flowers? I don’t have the big shot or a sewing machine. 🙁
Absolutely beautiful. I have always loved the look of brown wrapping paper. Wish I could sew to make some of these, but sewing machines scare me. I wouldn’t want to open the present!
Talk about taking a gift to another level…WOW, how beautiful. Someone will be so happy to receive a package so pretty. What you put inside wouldn’t even matter. Fabric & diecuts…another addiction.
Beautiful present! How super cute this would be to receive and to give! Thanks for the inspiration!
So pretty I would hate to open it! Thank you for sharing your project with all of us!
How beautiful! The presentation alone is enough to be thankful and appreciative. I would be happy just to get the beautiful wrapped flower. You are such an inspiration. For now, I’ll be admiring your “new” sewing fabric projects. I am not ready to venture into that yet. Thanks.
Awesome packaging! Great job on your flowers. They look like so much fun. I just love fabric squares. TFS!
OMG WOW! This is gorgeous and such an awesome idea. I don’t have a sewing bone in my body and would be intimidated to try this but you’ve done an awesome job. Hugs, Maria
Oh…that is super!!! How pretty! I’d love to have one to just look at for decoration. You are making me ache to get my fabric and machine out!!!
Truly, very lovely!!!
Love these! Is there a tutorial? I have some vintage fabrics that were my great-aunt’s that would be perfect for these.
That is really stunning, such a traditional and classy look would suit gifts for ladies of all ages and I bet you could sell your work for a good amount!
Absolutely gorgeous!
love this and to think you used a brown paper bag and it looks so pretty great job
Hugs

Now for SURE that die is going to go from my wish list into my shopping basket! Thanks for the inspiration!
Omigosh! How perfectly fabulous!! You don’t even need a present inside…..that gorgeous flower IS the gift! Love it! Can hardly wait to try it. Are you giving directions on the layers of each flower……using batting or just fabric?
BEAUTIFUL!! Now on top of all my SU! goodies I want for Christmas..I want a sewing machine and I suppose lessons on how to use it! Great job, thanks for sharing!
What a stunning package! You are so creative with any art medium that you touch. This is a winner. I think I may have to get out my sewing machine and “play”.
Those are gorgeous! I’m going to have to drag out the sewing machine! 🙂
OMG! I just may have to break down and Big Shot it! LOVE this!! oh, and wouldnt it be too cute on a big straw hat…the ideas are endless…keep up the inspiration…esther
Angie for a year I have been saving the brown paper out of our Stampin’ Up! boxes. I love to recycle! It makes great bags and wrapping paper. I iron it flat and stamp on it to make it into a bag. Love the flowers. Thanks for sharing your creativity with all of us.
