DIY Simple Fabric Basket with Chic n Scratch, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Angie Juda
These Large Fabric Baskets are super easy to make!! And…I made a couple changes to my original basket that I think makes it easier than my previous fabric basket (changing the seam allowance in one of the changes and different interfacing).
A Fat Quarters measure 22″ x 18″ and you need one pattern for the front and one for the lining.
You need two pieces of fabric and two pieces of Pellon 931 TD Interfacing, here’s the measurements.
- Outside fabric (front fabric) 14″ x 20″
- Lining fabric 14″ x 20″
- Interfacing 13″ x 19″ (two pieces)
You’ll also need your Basic Sewing Supplies (sewing machine, iron, scissors, clips or pins). See the complete list after the video.
These Reversible Fabric Baskets were made with the Bee Ginghams Fat Quarter Bundle Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs. I purchased two of these bundles at Missouri Quilt. I did an unboxing video when I received the fabric. I just LOVE the colors!!

p.s. Brooke eye surgery was rescheduled for next Wednesday.
I really love the bigger baskets that you have made. The fabric is a nice pattern.
Praying that Brooks eye surgery goes well.

Oh those cute bags !! And I love bees. Thanks for the chance to win !! ANd thanks for all you do for all of us !
The directions and follow for these bags was so complete and accurate. As a beginner appreciate that ability to print out instructions and refer back to the video many times. Our bags for Halloween turned out so cute.
Thanks John!!
Hi Angie, I left a comment already on your YouTube channel, love these projects, thanks! I would like to try the smaller version, can I find the measurements somewhere on your blog? Greetings from the Netherlands!
You’ve done an impressive work on your website in covering the topic. I am working on content about Cosmetics and thought you might like to check out 94N and let me what you think.
