Sewing Live

This past weekend I decided to try sewing live on my Sew Chic n Scratch channel. It was not the easiest… as my set up for sewing is completely different than my stamping videos. And that set up will not work for sewing (plus I need to leave it where it’s at so that I don’t have to unplug and replug everything.

This is where I film the sewing part of my sewing videos….

The rolling cart you see on the right is what I use to hold the stand that holds my camera when filming. I just move it to the left of my sewing table and and point the camera towards the sewing machine.

I use the top of my stamping desk to film cutting fabric and iron (on the other side of the room).

So, long story short.. I will continue to test out ways to film live sewing. But, all my tutorials will remain pre-recorded so that I can edit them.

Here’s the live video…

In my video I kept saying I was sewing the rectangle fabric trays… I was not. LOL That stack of fabric is upstairs on my dining room table (I picked up the wrong stack).

I have a new video for you and it will be ready in a few days.

If you would like to be notified when I share a new video or go live…please subscribe to my Sew Chic n Scratch YouTube channel.

Thanks and have a great day!
