I have a few things to share with you today since it’s been over a month since I shared anything. And, we’ll start with the most recent, the team Tote Bags I made for Stampin Up event in Houston. Didn’t they turn out so cute!!
The fabric line for the team totes is: Bountiful Blooms by Sherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics

My team tote bags were made using the Brooke Tote Bag Tutorial and if you’ve downloaded my FREE Instructions… I’ve made a slight change. After batch sewing these I found that making the lining fabric the same as the outside works better (originally it was 1/4″ smaller).

Here’s another Brooke Tote Bag using different fabric… I made the handle longer for the team totes.

There is a bit of confusion about where my sewing videos can be found. Originally I was posting all my sewing videos on my main Chic n Scratch YouTube channel. But, my new Sew Chic n Scratch YouTube channel is where I will post all my future sewing videos. Each time I share a sewing project I will direct to where you can find the video.
If you follow my paper crafting blog, you are aware that Miss Bella (my Cavachon dog) passed away on February 17th and I’m sharing the news here too because I made a blanket to bury with her.

It looks wrinkly because I washed it so that it would be softer and smell nice.

I started out with 8 inch squares and I added a flower to the center of every block. I have a really OLD video on how I made the Flower Block.
I used a glue stick to tack down the flower and then I sewed around each petal.

After I finished the flowers I sewed all the blocks together. It was 3 blocks wide and 8 blocks in length.

For the Miss Bella block, I used the Large Letters Dies by Stampin Up.

My “handmade with love” label came from ETSY and I love them. I’ve purchased these many times.
I have a couple ideas for my next sewing video and as soon as I master it I will film a video.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
