Deanna’s purse

Good morning!

I have one more purse to show you….Deanna’s flying home in a few hours and I wanted to show you the purse before she leaves. I took her to the fabric store on Friday and in less than 24 hours I made her this purse (while we talked I was sewing).


It’s missing the button to close it…..she’ll need to find a cute western button in Tennessee…..not that we don’t have them in Kansas City but we didn’t want to spend all our time together shopping.

  5. Adorable! I used to make rag quilts just like this (only each square had a star on it instead of an x) – never thought to make purses! I may have to try my hand at it for Christmas gifts this year!

  13. Angie this is another great project. I wish I had the scallop die but alas we don’t have the Big Shot in SU in Australia yet. But I am going to have to attempt to make one but I will using pinking shears on the edges to see if it will work in a similar fashion. Can’t wait to see the video!!!!

  35. Do you have a pattern that I can get to make them for Christmas gifts, my sister would love them. I would have to make 5 so I need to get start started now. I have done some sewing in the past so I think I can figure it out just for a pattern.
